About Conquering The Sky | Resources for your Fear of Flying
How Conquering the Sky Started
It started with a simple idea: short, honest videos explaining what actually happens during a flight — for people who are too afraid to fly or too anxious to enjoy it.
Turbulence. Strange airplane sounds. That feeling during takeoff when your brain tells you something is wrong. Millions of people experience flight anxiety, and most of them search for answers alone, late at night, hoping to find something that actually helps.
Those videos reached millions. Hundreds of thousands of anxious flyers found them on Instagram and TikTok, and the messages started coming in — people saying they finally understood why planes shake, why engines change sound, why turbulence is not dangerous. But they also said: I need something I can take with me. Something I can read before my flight. Something I can listen to at the airport when the panic starts.
That's why Conquering the Sky exists.
What We Built
We created 20+ digital resources — guides, calming audios, checklists, and cards — covering every phase of the flight and every type of fear of flying. Takeoff anxiety. Fear of turbulence. Night flights. Long-haul flights over the ocean. Flying with kids while anxious. Returning to flying after years away. First-time flyer nerves. Panic attacks during flights. Claustrophobia on planes.
Every resource is based on extensive research into aviation, flight mechanics, and what actually helps nervous flyers feel more prepared. We studied what pilots explain publicly, what flight safety data shows, and what real anxious flyers say they need.
What We Are Not
We are not pilots, therapists, or medical professionals. Nothing we create replaces professional therapy or medical advice. Individual experiences vary, and if you are dealing with severe anxiety or a clinical phobia (aviophobia, aerophobia), we always recommend seeking professional support alongside any educational resource.
What We Are
A team that understands flight anxiety because we've lived it, researched it extensively, and built the fear of flying resources we wish we'd had.
Over 700,000 people follow our content across Instagram and TikTok. Our AI pilot character explains flight concepts in a simple, visual way — always clearly disclosed as AI, never pretending to be a real pilot.
If you've ever searched "fear of flying" at 2am with a racing heart — these resources were made for you.
